Accelerec at XCODE 26, Shaping the Future of HR in Punjab
XCODE is not your average HR conference. It is where Pakistan’s HR, finance, and admin leaders sit in one room to make sense of the laws, systems, and shifts that will define how organisations operate next.
This April, Accelerec walked into M.A.O. College, Lahore with one question: As compliance
gets sharper and employee expectations get louder, is the way Punjab hires actually
keeping up?
Event — XCODE 26
Host — PIPD (Institute of Professional Development)
Representing Accelerec — Ayesha Saleem
Date — 25 April 2026
Location — Auditorium, M.A.O. College, Lahore
CONVERSATION STARTED
The Punjab Labour Code 2026 is one of the most significant updates to employment law
the province has seen in decades. It rewrites the rules around employee rights, benefits, perks, and compliance, and quietly raises the bar on what HR is expected to deliver, every single day.
At XCODE 26, we sat down with the people who will have to make all of it work in practice: CEOs, HR heads, finance leads, and admin teams.
WHAT WE EXPLORED
Compliance that scales with you. New regulations only deliver value if your hiring and people processes can actually keep up. We talked about how AI driven workflows turn compliance from a paper trail into a system leaders can trust on day one.
Employee experience as business strategy. With the Code 2026, benefits, perks, and
rights are no longer a side conversation, they are how organisations attract and retain people. The companies that get this right will own the next decade of talent in Punjab.
HR, tech, and culture as one workstream. The HR landscape is moving fast, and the old model of separate teams owning separate problems is breaking. We shared how forward thinking organisations are stitching it all together, with smarter recruitment at the foundation.
“Compliance isn’t the ceiling of good HR, it’s the floor. Everything that matters happens above it.”
WHY XCODE 26 MATTERED TO US
The Punjab Labour Code 2026 is going to shape how every organisation in the province hires, manages, and retains people for years to come. Being in the room with the leaders making those decisions, not commenting from the sidelines, was important to us.
It is also a reminder of why we built Accelerec the way we did: to make hiring fair, fast, and ready for whatever the next regulation, generation, or growth phase brings.
A special thanks to PIPD – Institute of Professional Development for hosting such a wellcurated and impactful evening.
The conversation didn't end in Lahore.
Whether you are an HR leader preparing for the new Code, a CEO rethinking your people
strategy, or a team ready to make recruitment both compliant and competitive, we built
Accelerec for this moment.
